8TH ANNUAL HEADSTONE & HISTORICAL PLAQUE HUNT
Again this year we continue to offer the contest with the added feature of the Historical Plaque hunt. The contest is open to everyone and the search is focused only within the Town of Minto. Our contest is the only one of its kind in Canada and past response has been overwhelmingly positive. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, please take the time to participate and learn a little history of our Town while on your hunt.
Contest Dates: June 10 -August 7 2024
Prizes: 1st-$150. 2nd-$100. 3rd-$50.
Draw Date: August 10th @ during Harriston Street Days Celebration at the Cenotaph
Entry Forms are available at: Harriston Historical Society website OR pickup at the John Webb Room, 3rd floor Harriston Library, Leslie Motors, Harriston Home Hardware, Harry Stone's, Harriston Royal Bank, Clifford County Store, Red Express, Palmerston Home Hardware, and Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum, Palmerston Public Library.
